Cheri Hill is joined by LinkedIn Specialist, Sandra Clark. Sandra has over twenty years of experience working in Silicon Valley, and a background in teaching. She is prepared for any group or individual looking to expand on their LinkedIn profile.
One piece of advice that Sandra has is simply to be active on your profile; "It's better to spend five minutes each day on LinkedIn, versus half an hour once a week." Being active, at least a little bit, each day will take you further than the occasional log-in.
Going off of this, unlike the name suggests, LinkedIn isn't the best place for posting links on their own. If you do have a link you want to share, say something about in the post, something to grab attention. Most people will pass by a post that only has a link, and nothing else. Give your followers a reason to click on it.
